City Council & Planning Commission Review Revised Plans for The Reserve

Posted on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 | Press & Media, News & Announcements

The City of Wyoming is currently involved in a lawsuit regarding The Reserve, the proposed development at the SE corner of 56th and Wilson.

During the course of discussions concerning the lawsuit, City and Granger Group representatives have discussed how the proposed overall development plan (“ODP”) could be improved and how some expressed concerns could be addressed.  The Granger Group agreed to address many issues resulting in some ODP refinements and improvements, as well as some tentative agreement on possible conditions of approval.

The improvements were presented, discussed, and considered by the City Council at a Council Work Session on Monday, August 13, 2018 (click the hyperlink below to view the presentation). The ordinance to approve the rezoning and move towards a settlement was also introduced and passed in first reading. The second and final reading is tentatively slated for the City Council meeting on September 4.
