What We Fund

The Greater Wyoming Community Resource Alliance’s goals are to support non-profit organizations and grass-roots charitable causes which look to improve the fabric of the community through the promotion of social, environmental, economic and health and wellness programs and services. These are the types of projects we fund:

  • Generally - Neighborhood associations, neighborhood improvement, community development, youth development and welfare; environment; education; scholarships.
  • Special Projects - The Board reserves the right to seek applications specific to any area of interest and/or target funding to specific initiatives at any given time.
  • Types of Support - Equipment; seed money/program development; operating support.

About the Grants

We accept letters of approach all year round. The Board of Directors may fund any amount; however, the typical grant awards range from $500 to $3000. Once the Alliance Board of Directors award a grant, the funds need to be used and reported on within a year of when the grant was issued. Recipients are also required to electronically submit quarterly reports and a final report at the end of the grant period.
