Applicants should read the City Ordinance concerning liquor licensing before filing an application to make sure their location complies. Applications for On-Premise liquor licenses (Class C, Tavern, etc.) should be made to the City Clerk for City Council approval prior to applying to the State of Michigan.
The application fee is $300.00.
Applications for Off-Premise liquor licenses (beer & wine or spirits) should be made to the State of Michigan Liquor Control Commission.
