Our Treasurer's Office strives to ensure the timely, accurate billing and receipt of all payments to the City. We collect all City, County, and school taxes on real estate and personal property, as well as all fees and service charges. Our responsive customer service staff handles various inquiries regarding tax bills and special assessments and will assist you with the use of the public display terminals.

Payment Plans with Wyoming Treasurer’s Office
Wyoming understands that water is an essential need and continues to offer payment plan options for customers struggling to make full payments. All water and sewer customers are eligible for payment plans. Contact the Utility Billing Office at 616.530.7389 or complete the Utility Billing webform.

City of Wyoming’s Utility Relief Program
Qualifying households can apply for water and sewer bill grant funding that pays up to 6-months of service charges and fees. Download the application. For more information contact 616.261.7145 or email CDBG_info@wyomingmi.gov.
To qualify, one must:
- Live at address of the water bill
- Have been financially impacted by COVID-19 (anyone in the household)
- Have less than $5,000 in checking and savings accounts (household)
- Meet income requirements listed in the table below

Tax Due Date and Late Fees
Summer taxes are due August 31. An interest charge of 4% will be added on September 1, with an additional charge of .5% on the first day of each month thereafter, with a maximum of 6%.
Winter taxes are due February 14. An interest penalty of 3% will be added on February 15.
All ad valorem real property taxes still due as of March 1 are turned over as delinquent to the Kent County Treasurer's Office for continued collection. Personal property taxes will remain with the City of Wyoming Treasurer's Office and incur 1% interest on the first of each month until paid in full.
Payments
Payments for property taxes, water/sewer bills, special assessments, planning fees, inspection permits and invoices, community development loans, and other miscellaneous invoices are collected at the Treasurer’s Office.
Electronic Payments for Taxes and Utility Bills
As part of our commitment to provide citizens with efficient, convenient service, the City of Wyoming has partnered with Point and Pay to offer payment of taxes and utility bills over the Internet at www.BSAOnline.com and by calling 1-866-234-7724.
Tax and utility bills can be paid with American Express® , Discover® , MasterCard® , and Visa® credit and debit cards or e-checks.

Note: The service provider Point and Pay charges a convenience fee for payment.
Credit card: 3% or a $2.00 minimum.
E-check: $3.00 flat fee for checks up to $10,000.00.
Other Payment Options
Payment may be made by check payable to the City of Wyoming with your payment stub or account number enclosed with your check, or you may pay in person at the Treasurer’s Office or by using the drop box located at the northeast entrance to City Hall. Payments received after 5:00 PM will be credited the following day. Please do not send cash by mail.

We know that financial emergencies arise unexpectedly. If this happens to you, contact a customer service representative at 530-7389 as soon as possible. Payment arrangements can be tailored to your individual needs if you call before the due date on your notice.
