Cape Seal Pavement Preservation
The City's cape seal pavement preservation street surface treatment for the 2026 season is tentatively scheduled for the week of July 20.
A cape seal is a two-part pavement preservation process that improves, preserves, and extends the useful service life of an existing street surface.
Schedule
The project will last about two weeks, but is subject to change depending on weather, availability of materials, or unforeseen emergencies. Each street takes approximately two days.
Work will be completed Monday through Saturday, from 7 am to 9 pm. Expect “no parking” signs on applicable street segments. To avoid any inconvenience as work takes place, residents are encouraged to park on adjacent streets via on-street parking.
