The City of Wyoming's Wastewater
Treatment Plant is seeking a qualified person to fill the position of Utility
Plant Operator. This position performs tasks involved in operations, minor
maintenance, and laboratory activities on an assigned shift in a wastewater
treatment plant. Within its prescribed limits, the work is performed with
considerable independence and without close supervision.
This position includes a

Candidates with lesser experience
are encouraged to apply and may be placed at the Utility Operator I position,
based upon experience and qualifications. A State of Michigan class B
Wastewater License would be required to start in the Utility Plant Operator II
pay scale. Employees are eligible for a pay increase six months after
hire.

$34.85 per hour
Utility Plant Operator II - $31.30 -
$38.39 per hour
