Located
in Holland, Michigan, the City of Wyoming’s Donald K. Shine Drinking Water
Plant is seeking a qualified person to fill the position of Maintenance
Technician 1. This position will perform general maintenance of the drinking water
plant buildings and grounds including semi-skilled work in light mechanical,
plumbing, painting, HVAC, and irrigation systems. Additionally, this position
is responsible for the general upkeep of plant buildings including custodial
tasks, irrigation and landscape duties, mowing, and snow removal.
Desired qualifications
include two years of responsible work in grounds and facilities maintenance or
an equivalent combination of knowledge and experience in plumbing, HVAC,
mechanical, or related fields.
This position includes a
competitive pay and benefits package. Highlights include:
- Four-day workweek, 38 hours per week and considered full-time for
benefits
- First shift – Monday through Thursday, 6:30am to 4:30pm
