The Wyoming Housing Commission (WHC) owns 195 public housing units. They are located at Westwood Apartments, Waldon Woods and at several other locations throughout Wyoming. Individuals and families pay rent based upon their income directly to the WHC.
PUBLIC HOUSING WAITLIST INFORMATION
The Public Housing Waitlist will be open to accept applications on July 8th, 2026, from 12:00am through July 10th, 2026, 11:59pm.
Applications will be accepted ONLINE ONLY via the link on the WHC page. If you are a qualified elderly or disabled person who requires assistance to complete the public housing waitlist application as reasonable accommodation, please contact our office at the number listed below.
Applicants will be selected for the waitlist by lottery selection. If you are selected to be placed on the waitlist, you will be contacted via mail. Please be sure to fill out the address section of the waitlist application entirely with accurate information. Failure to respond to the lottery selection notifications will result in your application being cancelled.

PLEASE NOTE: BEING SELECTED TO BE PLACED ON THE WAITLIST, DOES NOT MEAN YOU ARE ON THE WAITING LIST INDEFINITELY. YOU MUST COMPLY WITH THE ELIGIBILITY PROCESS BY RETURNING ANY DOCUMENTS WE MAY SEND YOU AND YOU MUST RESPOND TO ATTEMPTS TO REACH YOU. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN BEING REMOVED FROM THE WAITING LIST.
