CITY OF WYOMING PROJECTS​
Burton Street Reconstruction - Burlingame to Clyde Park (including work on Osmer) (Anlaan Corp)
Contractor is working in the area of Burton between Kamp Avenue and Clyde Park Avenue. Watermain installation started at Kamp Avenue and has reached Arnold Avenue and will continue to the east. A second watermain crew will begin installing watermain to each of the side streets. The second crew will start at Godfrey and work east. Starting today, local traffic on Burton will be limited to One-Way, East Bound only.
Contractor has completed watermain installation on Osmer Avenue and testing is in progress. When testing is complete contractor will tie-in the watermain on the north end and begin installing services to each home.
Boone Avenue Watermain Reconstruction - Lacrosse to 36th Street (Wyoming Exc)
Contractor has installed watermain up to the north side of 36th Street. Testing will be performed this week contractor intends to tie-in the new watermain at the end of the week. 36th Street will remain closed at Boone Avenue this week. Contractor is also installing watermain on the south end of Boone between Lacrosse Street and the previously installed watermain.
56th Street and Byron Center Dual Left Turn Lane - (Brenner Exc)
Construction will start today and will require 1 lane to be closed on southbound Byron Center.
PRIVATE DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS
3738 – 52nd Street - Salmon’s View Residential Development (Excel Exc)
Work start date has been delayed, likely starting after July 4.
2931 Burlingame Ave - Shea Ravines Residential Development (Thornaple Exc)
Site development is in progress. No impacts to Burlingame Avenue this week.
300 36th Street – Corewell Heath (Pioneer Construction)
Contractor was not able to place ADA ramps for 36th Street crosswalk last week and plans instead to place them next week. This work will require 1 lane in each direction to be closed.
