CITY OF WYOMING PROJECTS
Division Avenue Watermain – 36th St to 44th St (including work on Maplelawn) (Dykema Excavating)
Base Course was paved last Friday, Leveling course is planned for Monday 6/30.
Watermain installation continues in Phase 2.

Wyoming City Center Bridge Project (Anlaan Construction)
The contractor is working on the pedestrian bridge over 28th Street. Contractor is working on installation of architectural panels and lighting components. Periodic lane closures on 28th Street will be required for this work.
Wyoming City Center Trail Project (Katerberg-Verhage and Strain Electric)
Trail work continues in Pinery Park. HAWK signal work will continue in late summer when strain poles are available.
PRIVATE DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS
Benteler Automotive Fireline (4011 Stafford Ave., SW) – Dan Hoe Excavating
Final watermain connection at 40th and Stafford planned for this week. This will finish work on all City Utilities.
Corewell Health Watermain & Fireline (300 – 36th St., SW) – Connan Inc.
- Entrance off 36th St needs to be completed. This will require a lane shift on E.B. 36th between Clay and Buchanan, yet to be scheduled.
- Entrance off of Buchanan needs to be completed, yet to be scheduled.
Godwin Mercado (36th St. Market) Watermain – GVL Excavating
Remaining drive approach on 36th Street is planned in the next couple weeks dependent on relocation of a Consumers Energy pole.
Holtwood Street (old GM Plant off Buchanan Ave) – Dan Hoe Excavating
- All pipework is completed.
- Curb has been placed, and finish grading in preparation for base course asphalt is completed. Asphalt placement will be delayed due to utility poles being located within the approach for Holtwood St. An exact date hasn’t been scheduled for pole relocation, but it appears to be several weeks out. When the paving of Holtwood St. does take place, it will require a temp lane shift on Buchanan between 36th and 40th Streets.
Malta Woods (N. off 56th, E of Wilson) – Fischer Idema
Contractor is working on placing concrete within the plat and is nearly finished. Storm sewer connection in 56th Street is not yet scheduled and is dependent on fiber optic lines being relocated by AT&T. This schedule is at least 2-3 weeks out.
Rivertown Valley Phase 7 (Reserve Drive/Nile Drive area) – Schippers Excavating
Contractor is constructing streets within the plat. Clay stockpile removal is being planned. Addressing final elevations of catch basins and structures.
Courtyard at Wyoming (4051 Del Mar Drive) – Excel Excavating
Watermain and Sanitary Sewer construction is expected to start this week with connections completed next week. This work will require lane closures on Del Mar Drive.
