MDOT

MDOT CONSTRUCTION

US-131 - Plaster Creek Bridge

The bridge repairs and US-131 concrete repairs are progressing well and anticipated to continue for two more weeks.  US-131 is closed for northbound traffic and all vehicles must exit at 28th Street for bridge  construction on the Plaster Creek bridge (between 28th St and Burton St).  US-131 is open north of Burton St but reduced to one lane from Burton St to Pearl St for concrete repairs to US-131.  All northbound work is anticipated to be complete by April 26.  Southbound US-131 will remain open during this phase.

Once the work is completed on north bound US-131, traffic will re-open and similar work will begin on south bound US-131 and the Plaster Creek bridge.  Towards the end of April, US-131 will reduce to one lane on southbound US-131 between Pearl St and Burton St.  There will be a full closure of US-131 at Burton Street for the Plaster Creek bridge work.  This closure is also anticipated to last 4 weeks.  Detailed question or information should be directed to MDOT Transportation Service Center (TSC).  Northbound US-131 will remain open during the second phase.

PLATS

Kingsfield Estates (North side of 56th Street between Wilson Ave and Canal Ave)
