The Wyoming Fire
Department is seeking qualified firefighters to join our team of dedicated fire
service professionals and candidates to establish a list for future firefighter
openings.
We are seeking
individuals who are committed to public safety, skilled in emergency response,
and motivated to serve the residents, visitors, and businesses of the City of
Wyoming. As a member of our department, you will play a key role in protecting
our community.
Firefighters must
be proficient in modern firefighting techniques, rescue operations, and
emergency medical procedures.
Applicants are
required to possess:
- State of Michigan
Firefighter II certification (or equivalent)
- State HazMat
Operations certification (or equivalent)
- State Medical
First Responder certification (or equivalent)
Applicants with full-time
firefighting experience and EMT-B certification are preferred.

The annual wage range for this position is $68,848.42 - $84,520.80
or $26.27/hour - $32.25/hour. Compensation is based on a 24-hour shift schedule
and 2,620.80 hours annually and does not include overtime that may be earned.

application. Candidates selected for an interview shall be required to
complete an agility test as part of the selection process. The links below
