The City of Wyoming is seeking a motivated parks and
recreation intern to support the spring and summer program offerings.
This internship will provide candidates with the
opportunity to perform a variety of program assistance for the department which
includes site supervision, program planning, preparation, and implementation. You
will be part of the youth soccer league and concerts in the park to name a few! Duties may also include marketing, general office
work, record keeping, and general office support.
The ideal candidate is organized, detailed-oriented,
and comfortable multi-tasking. Strong customer service and the ability to
communicate clearly with residents, staff and community partners is essential
for success in this role.
Applicants must be in a college-level recreation
program and have a valid driver’s license.
