The Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a self-motivator and a team player for our Parks Technician 1 position to support City parks and recreation programs.

This position will perform a variety of maintenance work related to construction, small engine repair, irrigation, plumbing, electrical work, and horticulture to the City parks and recreations facilities. This role provides a dynamic blend of outdoor and indoor building maintenance and care.

The City of Wyoming has 21 parks, almost 700 acres of parkland, a senior center, market facility, and library that are outstanding and well loved by our community. The parks include splash pads, nature preserves, ponds, baseball, soccer fields, playgrounds, pickle ball courts, and much more.

The City pays for and trains employees to obtain and maintain a CDL, as well as other licenses and certifications. Additionally, the City provides employees with safety boots and shoes, cold-weather gear, and uniforms.

This position includes a comprehensive benefit package. Highlights include:
