Wyoming Counts - 2020 Census

Wyoming Counts - 2020 Census Closed

The 2020 Census officially closed on October 15, 2020. Thank you to our amazing community members for helping make sure Wyoming counts! Wyoming is growing in population and diversity. By completing the 2020 census you helped us capture the growth of our city. This ensures we have enough resources for our community. Every person counted in your household will bring our community around $18,000 in federal funding over the next 10 years.  This funding goes to support:

  • Housing
  • Education
  • Transportation
  • Employment
  • Health care
  • Public policy
  • and other vital services!

It’s in the Constitution

Did you know the U.S. Constitution requires a census to take place every ten years? Since 1790, we come together to count every resident in the United States. As a resident in Wyoming, you're even required by law to complete the 2020 census.
