This event is open to the public and requires attendees to follow COVID-19 health and safety guidelines, including face coverings and physical distancing.
Stop by Division and Logan on Oct. 2 from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. to take part in a glimpse of a more vibrant, inclusive, and accessible South Division Avenue.
This family-friendly event will feature:
- Outdoor games
- Food carts
- Video projection
- Crosswalks
- Replanting activity
The Rapid, in partnership with the City of Grand Rapids, City of Kentwood, and City of Wyoming, will be hosting three events in early October as part of the Division United project. The events will feature temporary installations like pedestrian safety elements, landscaping, and outdoor gathering spaces to transform them into safer, more active, and vibrant spaces.
