What information is already known about PPCPs in Great Lakes drinking water sources?
Data from another filtration plant located in our vicinity and using Lake Michigan as its source indicates that the levels of PPCPs are extremely low. The Great Lakes are an excellent source of drinking water in most ordinary respects, and this situation gives us another reason to be grateful, since the Lakes offer a significant advantage of dilution compared to a city that uses a river as its source. Please note that Wyoming does not advocate dilution as a means of solving this problem.
