Human Resources

Our goal is to attract, select and retain a competent and diverse group of individuals to provide the highest quality service to our community. With a service-oriented workforce, the City is able to achieve its overall objective of providing quality customer service to the citizens of Wyoming.

Our Human Resources Department is responsible for:

  • Administering all City employment policies
  • Administering development programs in conjunction with the Employee Assistance Center
  • Administering worker’s compensation
  • Complying with local and state labor laws
  • Coordinating a variety of training
  • Maintaining accurate personnel records
  • Providing Risk Control services

Risk Management

As part of the Human Resources Department, the Risk Control division is responsible for maintaining compliance with State and Federal standards concerning Safety, Ergonomic, Environmental, and Liability and Training requirements. Work site and facility inspections are conducted to ensure compliance with these State and Federal standards. Direction and assistance is given, State and Federal records kept and regulated training is completed by the Risk Control Staff.
